Purpose: The rocker arm (orange) design eliminates any target ball movement when measuring. It is repeatably accurate to 5-6 thousands of an inch (less than 2 hair widths!!) and due to the "no load lever" will not push a ball away even on a smooth surface.

The Accu-Arm method of measuring is to transfer the target ball readings to the top of the measure where it is easiest to read.

This device can handle target balls from 1" to 2.5" which is the complete range for, Petanque, Bocce and Lawn Bowls.

To take a measure. 

(A) Push the rocker arm against the target ball until the lineup marks on top of the measure are in a straight line.

(B) Next release the brake and pull the string tab out to touch the ball. When the measurement is taken, set the brake to lock the string in place.

(C) To check the second ball, repeat (A)

(D) Pull the locked string to the second ball to see which is closer ball 1 or 2.

Extending up to 9ft in length, this measuring device is great for measuring even those longer shots.  Good for either petanque, bocce and lawn bowling, the Clubhawk Measure will help you call those close games more accurately!

The outer shell is made of a high strength plastic.  Using a stiff stretch resistant cord to measure with, and affixed folding calipers for close shots, this device can be used indoors or outdoors.  Includes a belt clip for easy attachment and accessibility.  ClubHawk measure is Imported by Playaboule from England. The USA designed Accu-Arm is precision manufactured and fitted in the USA.

Note: Due to the precision fixing required, the Accu-Arm is NOT available as a separate item to be fitted by a user themselves to an existing measure.
